Our first children’s clothes swap will be taking place on Sunday 20th March from 11am in West Norwood.
This event is part of The Spring Festival which is brought to you by local community and business groups – West Norwood Feast, Station to Station and Norwood Forum. It features a variety of free family friendly events to welcome back visitors to our High Street, with funding through Lambeth Council from the Welcome Back Fund.
Date: Sunday 20th March
Time: 11am – 1pm
Location: The Old Library, 14-16 Knights Hill, West Norwood, SE27 0HY
Clothes drop: Clothes should be dropped in advance at The Green Fair (Saturday 19th March, between 11-3pm at St Luke’s Church, 13 Norwood High Street, SE27 0DT) or brought on the morning of the event.
Are your children constantly growing out of clothes? Are you conscious about the environment and what fashion and clothing is doing to it? We want to try and combat both of these things and extending the lifespan of clothing, especially kids clothes, by hosting a clothes swap for children. We welcome both boys and girls clothes up to the age of 16 – please continue to focus on quality rather than quantity – things you’d be happy to leave the event with or for your kids to continue wearing should it fit them. Up to 15 items will be accepted so use this opportunity to trade up clothes which no longer fit your kids!
Refreshments will be available on the day, so please bring friends and family to experience our first Verte Mini!
