Making your wardrobe a little greener is easy #Earthday
Clothes Swap – Wednesday 19th April & Thursday 20th April – 10am-6pm
Come along anytime during the day to drop off your items, get your tokens and then shop around, for free! Hosted in partnership with Brookfield Properties, this clothes swap is open to everyone in the building, the property industry and the general public.
Launch Party – Wednesday 19th April – 6-9pm
Join us for clothes swapping, music, drinks and canapés to kick off our two day pop up event.
How it works
1. Drop off your items – We can take in collections any time in the run up to the event, just drop the organisers a message via Instagram – verte.london, or bring them along on the day.
2. Claim your tokens – Depending on the quality of each item you bring to the swap, we’ll give you a corresponding number of tokens (digital of course!). We’ve got a sliding scale, from high-street to luxury so no one loses out.
3. Swap, don’t shop! Once we open the rails, it’s on. Each item will have a token value so you shop using your tokens. We will replenish the stock throughout the day so that no one misses out.
All remaining stock will be donated to Smart Works.
A bit about Smart Works
Job interviews are difficult and a significant barrier to success. Without the necessary self-belief and practical tools, it is easy to become trapped in a cycle of failed interviews and unemployment.
Smart Works believe in the power of clothes and coaching to transform a woman’s confidence. Their service is carefully designed, with kindness and respect at the heart of everything they do. It is about much more than the clothes she is gifted: it is about what the clothes allow each woman to become. When she looks in the mirror, she begins to see hope and possibility for a better future.
